Plans are underway to prepare a programme of events to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee over
the long weekend June 2 – 5th, please keep these dates in your diary. There will be a Beacon lighting, Party in the Rec,
Fete and Songs of Praise plus street parties on the Sunday lunch time. The next planning meeting is Thursday Feb 10th @ 8.0 p.m. in the Sharpthorne Hall,
do come along. Offers of help, financial support and running stalls will be much appreciated, do contact me on derekshurvell@gmail.com.
