Derek writes’ The 4th Sunday of Lent, refreshment Sunday, Mothering Sunday & Mother’s Day are all titles we give to this coming Sunday plus the clocks go forward.
It was a time to take stock on our Lenten Journey, go on Pilgrimage to the Mother Church ( Cathedral ) bake a cake and visit the family home and now say “ Thank you and I love You Mum”
10 years ago I planted heather in the Churchyard to brighten up the steps and to provide material for posies. That plan has now come to fruition and we will be using it on Saturday at 2.0 p.m.
to make posies for our dear mothers. All welcome to help out.
