Derek writes: St. Margaret’s Church held its first Light Party last Saturday 29th Oct. at the Sharpthorne. Hall
7 families attended. The plan was to provide an alternative to Halloween.
We started with making & decorating candle holders out of clay & beads, also drawing on pebbles and butternut squashes.
Moving on to Super hero dice game with sweet lucky dip, iced buns on strings, a tea of pizza, carrot sticks, apples and fairy cakes, ending with games.
The ever popular musical chairs, musical statues and a rousing rendition of the Hokey Cokey.
Thank you to those that came, those that dressed up in shiny clothes and for Bev’s cakes & helping out. We all had a lovely time.
