Derek writes: A Very Big Thank you to everyone involved with the Coronation Street Fair on Monday: our generous sponsors, stall holders, performers, helpers, stewards and to the crowds who came along.
However our biggest heart felt thank you goes to Our Heavenly Father who answered our prayers and kept the rain away.
I had had a week of folk telling me “were we going to cancel?”, “what are you going to do about the rain?” and stall holders pulling out. We kept our nerve, made contingencies and prayed.
Our prayers were answered, Alleluia! and the rest are fond memories, of a sold out Pig Roast, Pizzas galore, 5 deep at the Pub, wonderful music, Children smiling, opera in the Street, and crowds of people.
What a gracious Heavenly Father, we worship & serve.
