Derek writes: This Saturday, 28th August, sees the return of the annual British Legion, flower, Fruit & vegetable show.
It is to be held at the Sharpthorne Club from 2.15 p.m. ( next to Costcutter ).
Do come along and have a look around to get an idea of what a village show is all about.
My father showed flowers and veg when I was a child and us children entered the junior classes.
From onions, potatoes & runner beans, dahlias, roses & gladioli, Victoria sandwiches, jams & chutneys
plus photography and children’s classes, something for everyone, do come along if you can.
