The Working party in the Churchyard on 7th June was attended by 5 adults and 9 youngsters. An enthusiastic group cleaned gates and hand rails, cut back a large Rhododendron, raked up long grass & daffodil stems in various parts of the Churchyard and trimmed back an overgrown hedge. Carrying and dragging large bag fulls of rubbish down to the bonfire site at the bottom of the lower Churchyard which is quite an effort.
On Friday 14th June 22 younsters enjoyed a warm evening at a property along Horsted Lane, swimming in a natural pond, ( quite a few brave souls ), trampolining, playing in a lovely tree house with zip wire, slide & swing, football and tree climbing, finishing off with burgers cooked on a camp fire.Thank you to our hosts, Nick & Sarah.
