Tulips in the Churchyard.This is the first time I have tried Tulips in the Churchyard as part of the 2022 bulbs for the Queen’s Jubilee and to extend the spring flowering period. Planting Tulips into grass was not something I had tried before.( only in soil of flower beds ). So I consulted Tom Coward at Gravetye Manor Gardens and he suggested I borrowed his special bulb planter which takes large plugs out of the turf. You then plant the bulb and back fill with compost.
