Derek Shurvell writes: On Friday 5th July the Emmaus Club went Stream Walking at Tywford.
This involves, as the name suggests walking along a stream without getting water into your boots.
This is harder than you think along a twisty stream with over hangs, fallen tree trunks and deep pools.

At the end of our walk is a steep bank ideal for a water game of filling up a 10 litre container with small plastic cups.
This was won by the year 6s. The bank then turned into a mud slide down into the stream.
As you can imagine many youngsters ended up, muddy, wet but happy.
