On Midsummer we had a lovely treat. Walking down the hill eastwards from Highbrook Church down to the farm below, enjoying the beautiful Sussex countryside.
We then entered ‘Hobbit land ‘ a delightful wood with a stream running through it.
5 groups of youngsters then lit camp fires ( with a little help from the leaders ) and cooked sausages and toasted marsh mallows. A real delight. Thank you to our hosts Camilla & Simon.
