Derek writes: Sunday 27th 2022 is Advent Sunday, 4 Sundays to Christmas a time when the Church Community reflect on the arrival and coming of great importance, the Birth of Jesus our Lord and Saviour.
Part of our preparations is to worship and sing Hymns & carols which we will do on Sunday 11th December at Carols in the Square @ 6.0 p.m. ( for half an hour ). Free for all, with a bucket collection in aid of Church expenses.Before the Carols at 5.30 p.m. there is our now annual procession of Lanterns from F.Field. Lanterns are easy to make with willow & tissue paper ( no live flames please ). Come along to the School Christmas Fair from 10 a.m. – 1.0 p.m.this coming Saturday ( 3rd) where I will be running a workshop raising funds for our Village School.
