Emmaus Club, Friday 8th November
We spent the evening thinking about Remembrance in various ways. As members arrived they constructed the heart arrangement which was later placed at the foot of the war memorial.
Posies were made and tags decorated with the words “ We will remember them “.
Members then each took one home with a night light to have a time together with their families.
Nicol our Vicar, kindly came along to lead a time getting us to think about what are we specifically remembering: battles, wars, conflicts, struggles, rather than a blanket answer of World Wars 1 & 2.
