Emmaus Harvest Festival

After a gathering game of indoor hockey the youngsters decorated boxes ready for the harvest distribution to households in the parish.
Two teams, boys versus girls then embarked on 4 athletic challenges.
Skipping, catching, raft ball and purpeze jumps, with our Vicar Nicol acting as our time keeper.
The girls won 3 : 1, well done.
After tuck, Nicol chatted to us about the importance of giving thanks for the harvest and remembering how blessed we are to be surrounded by so much.
Education, electricity, water, sanitation, the internet and mobile phones. Services we take for granted which are lacking to many around the World.
A generous collection of Harvest goods were then taken up to Church.
