Deer troubles or more to the point…Deer nibbling and trimming back hedges.
I noticed recently that Deer had been reaching up and trimming an Oak tree at Finche Field and likewise nibbling back a hedge, see photographic evidence.
However the good news is that they can only reach to 5’ or so and will leave the rest of the foliage alone, i suppose the problem comes with new plantings which therefore require protection in the early years to grow to a safe height. Readers what are your experiences ?
