Derek writes: Winter flowering shrubs & plants catch the eye or nose or both. Daphne is no exception, the scent is delicious and the cluster of pink & white flowers are delightful.This plant in our garden was a return from a dissatisfied customer when I was working at Wych Cross Nurseries some 15 years ago.
It obviously liked its new home and has flourished. I’ve managed to dig up flowering suckers and establish new plants including one in the bed at West Hoathly Primary School.
Let’s hope it looks like this in 10 years’ time !
