Derek writes: Carnivorous plants and fly catchers. My father who is nearing his 89th birthday is a very keen gardener, hence my passion for this pastime.
At a show, some time ago he bought a Sarracenia, commonly known as an insectiverous pitcher plant. ( probably a more accurate term than carnivorous ).
He now has quite a collection and has klndly given me a selection of his spares to sell at the Churchyard market on Saturday 10th July.
They are easy to look after, attractive, hardy but require regular top ups of rain water.
