Derek writes: “2022 is fast approaching and it won’t be long before we are celebrating 70 years of Queen Elizabeth 2nd on the throne.
What are we going to do individually and collectively to mark this tremendous achievement ?
How about planting 70 trees, volunteering for 70 hours or cooking 70 cakes to be given away, I’m sure the list is endless.
Here at St. Margaret’s we are going to plant 2022 flowering bulbs, daffs & tulips.
This is going to happen next Friday 19th with the Village School Children and then the following day Saturday 20th from 10.30 a.m. when everyone is encouraged to come along and plant bulbs.
Hopefully these bulbs will provide a blaze of Spring colour but also get people thinking about what they might do to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee”
